Jacob Moss is a Los Angeles based composer primarily for Film, TV, and Video Games. He received an undergraduate degree in Composition and a Masters degree in Scoring for the Screen obtained at Pulse College in Dublin, Ireland. In his studies Jacob was lucky enough to study with master orchestrator and composer Conrad Pope as well as Christopher Young, with whom he began his career assisting. Jacob then became an assistant for several years for Bear McCreary, until branching off on his own.
Jacob has had the opportunity to collaborate on projects such as The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, God of War: Ragnarök, and with master filmmakers such as Sam Raimi, David Goyer, and Jon M. Chu. Jacob has also had the opportunity to write additional music for shows such as The Walking Dead, Outlander, See and Foundation.
Jacob draws his inspiration from an eclectic pool of composers, such as Jerry Goldsmith, Edward Elgar, Lili Boulanger, John Williams, Gustav Mahler, and many many others.
